Adding emoticons to web-based emails
Q:
When I'm trying to add SweetIM emoticons/smileys to emails, they are not added to the email. What should I do ?
A:
SweetIM is compatible with all web based email providers that support rich text or html modes.
It does not support the plain-text mode (since all graphic elements are disabled in this mode).
Switching to rich text / html mode is easy. Either search for an explanation in your provider's
help section on switching to rich text mode, or find the relevant help for your email provider below:
Hotmail / MSN,
Yahoo Mail,
Gmail.
In case switching to rich text mode didn’t help, you might want to try this solution.

Q:
Can I add SweetIM emoticons to Outlook, Incredimail, Windows Mail and Thunderbird?
A:
SweetIM is currently compatible only with emails that are written from browser-based
email services (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo…) and thus cannot be used right now with Outlook,
Incredimail, Windows Mail and Thunderbird.
Q:
How can I add SweetIM emoticons to Facebook?
A:
You can add SweetIM emoticons to new composed messages in your Inbox on Facebook.
Just open the icon with the yellow smiley in SweetIM toolbar and choose an emoticon.
A box should open, and you should change the "HTML" to "Link" and copy & paste the link
to your message on Facebook. After pressing the "Send" button in Facebook, your friend will get the emoticon!
