March 15th, 2008 - SweetIM 2.5 is released with new generation of Winks. The new Winks are even more crazy and alive than before and make IM more enjoyable. Try them out and rock your buddies’ messenger window.

The new version works better with Windows Vista and with other messenger add-ons than before.

July 15th, 2007 - SweetIM 2.1 now supports AIM, the most popular messenger platform in the US, available for free download from www.SweetIM.com, claim your free copy now! After the huge success with SweetIM for MSN and Yahoo messengers and constant requests from AIM users we are ecstatic to introduce SweetIM for AIM. Finally AIM users will be able to express themselves in fun and cool ways with the latest flash animations introduced for the first time in AIM, with the latest 3D emoticons and smileys of multiple designs, Sound FX, Nudges, as well as Display Pictures also known as buddy icons or avatars and tons of more content.

Dec 31st, 2006 - We are thrilled to announce the release of SweetIM 2.0 Beta now supporting Yahoo Messenger. Downloadable for free from www.SweetIM.com the application offers over 400 million Yahoo users to enjoy for the first time Winks, Sound FX, Nudges, as well as adding 3D Emoticons, Audibles, Display Pictures and tons of more cool content enabling users to express themselves in fun and creative ways.

SweetIM 2.0 Beta also supports interoperability between Yahoo and MSN users, enabling them to send various SweetIM content to each other, and naturally supports the new Windows Live Messenger 8.0 introduced in the middle of 2006. Users that have already upgraded to Windows Live Messenger 8.0 can now download SweetIM for free from www.SweetIM.com and enjoy the massive addition of cool content including Emoticons, Winks, Sound FX, Nudges, Audibles, Display Pictures and more. In addition, this version fixes a flash related bug, and works faster.

SweetIM alpha version 1.1.0.150 released for MSN Messenger & Internet Explorer!

January 1st 2006 - We're excited to announce the public release of SweetIM and SweetIM for IE, our latest version of the popular MSN Messenger add-on SweetIM. The latest version is free and available for download from www.SweetIM.com. This release offers users new display pictures, nudges, and even more emoticons, winks, audibles, sound FX and soon to come games and mobile content. Users can now define shortcuts to their favorite content, as well as access it faster though our new buttons bar, and enjoy extended configuration possibilities.

The highlight of this version is without a doubt SweetIM for IE, our extension into the browser. Users can now send emoticons and graphics through their web based emails, blogs and forums, which their buddies will see upon receiving. In addition, SweetIM for IE provides direct access to powerful web search directly from the browser as well as other advanced features.

SweetIM alpha version released for MSN Messenger

August 10 th 2005 - We're proud to announce the public release of SweetIM, a new application for MSN Messenger. The alpha version is free and available for download from www.SweetIM.com. This release extends messenger by adding emoticons, winks, audibles, sound FX and soon to come more exciting content, enhancing the messaging experience and enabling instant messenger users to express themselves in fun and creative ways.

The SweetIM team released the alpha version to early adopters and intends to work closely with its users to improve the product and prepare it for its official launch later this year. For the first time MSN Messenger users will be able to send audibles a feature only available on Yahoo messenger till date, they'll be able to add winks, to enjoy 3D emoticons and to drive their buddies crazy with funny sound FX.

All users of the alpha version are encouraged to provide feedback through the SweetIM website, report any bugs, and submit any feature requests and other issues. Throughout the alpha program we may issue additional releases and fixes to the SweetIM application. Users who are not interested in getting the first glimpse of the alpha version can register to the SweetIM mailing list and will be notified upon the release of subsequent versions.
