What is SweetIM Toolbar for Firefox?
SweetIM Toolbar for Firefox is an add-on toolbar for Firefox that lets you add emoticons,
icons and other cool content to web-based applications such as web-based email
(Hotmail/Live, Yahoo mail, Google Gmail etc), social network posts (on MySpace,
Live Spaces, Facebook etc.), forums, blogs and more.
To insert SweetIM content in an email message:
Sign in to your web email, and select any emoticon from the
SweetIM menu located on the SweetIM toolbar. The selected item will be inserted in
your email and will be visible to your friends, even if they have not downloaded SweetIM.
Inserting SweetIM content on a social network page:
Sign in to your social network, and select any of the icons or other content from the
SweetIM menu located on the SweetIM toolbar. A dialog box for inserting content to a
website will open. Then click on the "Copy Code" button at the bottom to copy the HTML
code associated with the content.
Return to your social network page and paste in the content's HTML code by pressing CTRL V.
The content will be inserted in the page and be visible to your friends, even if they have
not downloaded SweetIM.
Search the Internet from the SweetIM toolbar
Search the web directly from your Firefox browser with our powerful search engine that indexes
over 2 billion web pages. Just type your query in the search box on the SweetIM Toolbar for
Firefox and hit "enter" or click the "search"
Searching from the toolbar using other search engines
You can also access powerful search engines such as Yahoo!, Google and MSN from the SweetIM toolbar.
Enter your query in the search box and select the search engine of your choice by clicking the arrow
next to the "search" button and choosing "More search providers" from the drop-down menu.
Highlighting search text
If you would like your search term highlighted on search result pages, click the Marker button on
the SweetIM toolbar before you begin your search. The search term will be highlighted wherever it
appears in the results page.
Clicking the marker again will turn off the highlighting feature.
How do I install the SweetIM Toolbar for Firefox?
The SweetIM Toolbar for Firefox is automatically installed when you install SweetIM.
It will work even if you don't have MSN, Yahoo, AIM or ICQ messenger.
How do I uninstall the SweetIM Toolbar for Firefox?
You can hide the SweetIM for Firefox by clicking your right mouse button while the cursor
is over the SweetIM toolbar, and then selecting SweetIM for Firefox. If you prefer to uninstall
the SweetIM for Firefox and remove it from your computer entirely, go to your Tools in Firefox
menu and select Add-ons. Now select SweetIM for Firefox and click on Uninstall button.

SweetIM for Firefox supports Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and 3.0 .Operating system Windows XP and higher versions.

How do I clear my search history from the SweetIM for Firefox?
You can clear the search text box on the SweetIM for Firefox by first clicking on the SweetIM logo on the left
of the SweetIM for Firefox, and then selecting in the menu
Tracks Eraser → Clear Search History.
This will erase all your previous search terms from the search text box.
Clicking on the SweetIM logo on the left side of the toolbar opens a pull-down menu with the following items:
SweetIM Home - will open a browser with the SweetIM homepage.
SweetIM Search - will open a browser with the SweetIM Search homepage.
SweetIM Message Boards - will open a browser with the SweetIM forums, where you can
discuss SweetIM related issues with other users.
Tracks Eraser → Clear Cookies - erases cookies placed on your computer.
Tracks Eraser → Clear Cache - erases your Firefox cache to make room on your hard disk.
Tracks Eraser → Clear Browsing History - erases your previously visited websites from the History folder.
Tracks Eraser → Clear Search History - erases you previous Search terms from your browser.
Help → Help - opens a browser with help about the SweetIM for Firefox page (this page).
Help → About - opens a browser to information about SweetIM .
Help → Uninstall - opens a browser with instructions how to uninstall the SweetIM for Firefox.
Contact Us - opens the contact us page, which provides you with a form for feedback to help us to make SweetIM better.
Privacy Information - opens our Privacy Policy page.
Problems with web email and other web applications
If you are having problems inserting SweetIM emoticons and graphics into Emails, Blogs and Forums,
make sure that "Rich Text Editor" or "Color and Graphics" settings have been selected.
To insert content in web-based emails, you must be composing, replying to or forwarding a message.

I can't find the SweetIM for Firefox on the browser. How do I make it appear?
First, please make sure that you have installed the toolbar correctly by checking if it is listed as
"SweetIM for Firefox" in the Firefox add-ons in the Tools menu. If it is not listed, please install
SweetIM again from our site.
If it does appear in the Firefox add-ons list, the SweetIM for Firefox is properly installed but hidden.
You can make it visible by clicking "View" → "Toolbars" on the Firefox menu bar and selecting "SweetIM
for Firefox".
If you see two arrows >> on the far right of the address bar, click on them to make the SweetIM for Firefox appear.
